Making MND history

We are internationally renowned for world-class neurodegenerative research. As well as developing effective disease-modifying therapies for motor neuron disease (MND) we’re also finding ways to improve the lives of patients living with MND.

When the University of Sheffield’s Professor Dame Pamela Shaw first met patients with motor neuron disease (MND), little was known about the devastating condition. Since then, she has dedicated her career to improving the prospects for those living with MND.
